Selling guest posts on the marketplace

Publishers sell placements on their sites through the serp.ac link marketplace (open it). You act as serp.ac's supplier: buyers pay us, we check your delivery and then credit your earnings. Use the Selling switch at the top of the marketplace to see your sites, orders and earnings; buying and selling use the same serp.ac account.

Adding a site

Open My sites → Add a site (add a site) and enter:

• the domain (it can't be changed later), the languages you publish in and your main audience;
• the link type you give: dofollow, nofollow or sponsored;
• your prices in USD for each placement you offer: a guest post the buyer writes, a guest post you write, and a link insertion into an existing article. Leave a placement empty if you don't offer it;
• the niches you accept, each with an optional surcharge (for example +$50 for gambling);
• turnaround days, links per article, the minimum word count, up to five sample URLs and your rules for buyers.

Every order is charged a platform commission (20% by default) and the form shows what you earn. Price changes apply to new orders only.

Proving ownership

Before review you verify the site with one of four methods:

Meta tag	Add the <meta name="serp-ac-verification" …> tag shown on the page to your homepage's <head>.
DNS TXT record	Add a TXT record with the value serp-ac-verification=… on the domain.
File	Upload /.well-known/serp-ac-verification.txt containing the code.
Search Console	Works if one of your serp.ac projects is connected to a Search Console property covering the domain.

After verification we fetch the site's metrics (domain rank, referring domains, language, last update, HTTPS) and our team reviews the listing, usually within one business day. You can pause and resume an approved listing at any time.

Delivering orders

1. Accept or reject each new order within 3 days. Orders you don't accept in time are cancelled and refunded to the buyer.
2. Publish the placement within your turnaround time, exactly as ordered: the target URLs, anchor texts and link type, on an indexable page of your site.
3. Submit the URL on the order. You can't submit before accepting.
4. Our checker verifies the page right away. If it fails, the order comes back to you with the problems listed (for example "the link is nofollow" or "the page is noindex"); fix them and submit again.
5. After a passed check the buyer has 7 days to review. Then the order completes automatically.

Use the order's messages for questions; the buyer and our support team see them.

Earnings and the guarantee

When an order completes, your earnings appear as pending. After an additional hold (3 days by default) they become available. For 6 months we keep checking each link: if it is removed or turned nofollow, you get a notice and 7 days to restore it. If you don't, the buyer is refunded and the earnings are taken back from your balance; a negative balance is settled from your next earnings.

Getting paid

In Payout settings (open it):

• fill in your payout details (legal name, country, address and, in some countries, a tax ID) — required before the first payout and stored encrypted;
• add a bank account through Wise (the form shows the fields Wise needs for your currency, for example an IBAN for EUR) or a crypto wallet (USDT on TRC20, ERC20 or BEP20, or USDC).

On Earnings enter the amount (minimum $50) and click Show fee: for Wise you see the exact transfer fee and how much you receive in your currency; for crypto, the network fee. Fees are deducted from the payout. Our finance team then sends the payout; you're notified when it's paid. Every movement is listed in your statement, and a printable monthly statement is available.

FAQ

Why does serp.ac take a commission?

The commission covers payments, escrow, verification, the guarantee and support. You always see the exact amount you earn before accepting an order.

Can I accept gambling or adult orders only?

Yes. Tick only the niches you want and set a surcharge for each one if you like.

What happens if my site goes down for a day?

Network errors and server errors are retried and never count as a removed link. Only a link that is confirmed missing twice, a day apart, starts the 7-day restore period.

Which currencies can I be paid in?

Every currency Wise can send to, or USDT/USDC on the networks listed in Payout settings. The Wise fee depends on the currency and is shown before you confirm.

Can I delete a listing?

Listings without orders can be deleted. Listings with orders can be paused instead.
