- Otterly.AI: engine add-on prices depend on the plan (AI Mode and Gemini $9–149, Claude $29–439 per month). Otterly also covers Microsoft Copilot and Google AI Overviews, which this calculator doesn't ask about.
- Peec AI: prices are reported by third parties (Peec's pricing page doesn't list them). 3 models are included; each further model is priced per plan. Perplexity is reported as a paid add-on with no published price, so totals that include it are a lower bound.
- Nightwatch: prices are in euros and not converted. We count one AI answer as one prompt on one engine in one run, and assume runs can be spaced to your chosen frequency.
- SE Ranking: plans include 5 LLMs, but the pricing page only names ChatGPT and Google AI Mode, so other engines show as "not listed".

Frequently asked questions
How much does AI visibility tracking cost?
It depends on four things: how many prompts you track, on how many AI engines, how often the answers are re-checked, and whether you also track Google rankings. Entry plans start around $29–99 a month for a few dozen prompts; tracking hundreds of prompts on every major engine costs several hundred.
What counts as a prompt?
A prompt is one question you want to appear in, such as “best project management tool for agencies”. Most tools run every prompt on each engine you pick, so 50 prompts on 3 engines produce 150 answers per run.
Why do some tools show red lines?
A red line means that tool's closest plan can't fully cover what you entered — for example it doesn't track an engine, has no Google rank tracking, or checks AI answers less often than you asked. We show the closest plan instead of hiding the tool.
How often does serp.ac re-check AI answers?
serp.ac re-checks AI prompts weekly (every 2 weeks on starter), and Google rankings daily on every plan. If you pick a frequency serp.ac doesn't offer, the calculator says so.
How are extra prompts priced on serp.ac?
Each plan includes a number of prompts and keywords; beyond that you add +50 AI prompts for $29.00/month or +250 SERP keywords for $49.00/month. The calculator picks whichever plan plus add-ons is cheapest.
Are these prices up to date?
They're copied from each vendor's public pricing page on October 24, 2026 (Peec AI from third-party reports, since it doesn't publish prices). Vendors change prices often — always confirm on their site.
